Rotate PDF lets you correct page orientation inside a PDF by turning selected pages in 90° steps until they face the right way. The process runs locally in your browser, so your file stays on your device from start to finish.

Step-by-step: rotate pages in a PDF

Fixing PDF page rotation takes just a few steps:

• Add your PDF. Drag and drop a file into the box above, or click to choose from your device.
• Review page thumbnails. Check which pages are sideways or upside down.
• Click pages to rotate them. Each click rotates the page 90° clockwise.
• Rotate PDF. Click Rotate PDF. The tool rebuilds the corrected PDF locally in your browser.
• Save the result. Download the fixed PDF to your device.

How page angles work

Each click rotates the selected page by 90° clockwise. Pages cycle through these rotation states in order:

• Normal (0°)
• Right (90° clockwise)
• 180°
• Left (270° clockwise)
• Normal again

This is ideal for pages that are sideways or upside down. It does not fix slight tilt, skew, or perspective problems from poor scanning.

Tips for best results

Troubleshooting

• Rotate PDF does nothing: add 1 PDF file first, then click Rotate PDF after choosing your page rotations.
• Page thumbnails are slow: large or image-heavy PDFs can take longer to render in the browser.
• The tool feels slow or freezes: close heavy tabs or try a smaller PDF first.
• The PDF will not load: the file may be damaged, encrypted, or unusually complex — re-save it in a desktop PDF app and try again.
• The file is still too large afterward: use PDF Compressor after rotation.
• Some content looks different in the output: complex PDFs with unusual fonts, layers, forms, or interactive elements may need a quick review after rotation.
• The page is still not straight: this tool rotates in 90° steps only and does not fix slight scan skew or perspective distortion.
